CAMPAIGN FOR REAL ALE (Camra) is a voluntary organization consisting of over 90,000+ ordinary drinkers, run by an unpaid, elected national executive and backed by a small core of professional executives.It speaks for drinkers everywhere in fighting to save pubs and breweries from closure, and in attempting to improve quality and to ensure pub standards are raised.

Branch Diary.

October 25th

Keighley and Worth Valley railway beer and music festival.

November 14th - 16th

Bruges weekend.

December 6th 12noon.

Branch meeting at the Bluebell on Oswald Road, Scunthorpe.

December 13th 6pm

Christmas party at the Malt Shovel, Ashby. Details to follow.

Due to the Thursday evening timing (7pm - 10pm) the trip to Acorn Brewery at Barnsley has been postponed until next year.

Trips proposed for next year include the National Winter Ales Festival in Manchester in January, Rotherham Beer Festival in February, Friends of the Barton Line trip in March, and Hawkshead Brewery weekend in April.
